Summer Storm

The Far North Coast of New South Wales is a very wet place to live. Here, we traditionally measure the rainfall in metres. The sounds of the thunderstorms are fascinating – from the first rumbles that ruffle bird feathers and send animals scurrying for cover, to the rain building in intensity to become a fully-fledged storm, later retreating to calm and stillness as the frogs come to life.
